A welcome note from our Branch Secretary
am delighted to take this opportunity to welcome you all to the newly designed
website of the Northern Ireland Combined Branch, and I would sincerely
encourage you to take the time to access this site to ensure you are kept up to
date on all the information posted here, and in particular the information you
feel that is most likely to be of benefit to you personally. The site will contain Branch reports, Letters
to Branches from CWU Headquarters, National Agreements along with links that
will take you to various pages with different types of advice and guidance that
will assist in your everyday working life. The site is designed to bring you closer to your union; to keep you
informed, and ultimately to afford you the opportunity to be able to contact us
with any questions you may have and also to have an input with your ideas in
helping to bring our union another step forward. This initiative has been a long time coming,
and immense credit has to go to the NI Combined Branch Working Group for the excellent
work they have done in constructing this site, and now that we are here, we all
have the opportunity to reap the benefits the site provides. I should also make you aware, this new
website has coincided with the opening of the new CWU Northern Ireland Regional
Centre situated on the whole of the first floor of the Unite Building on the
Antrim Road, Belfast, and the only thing I can say is that, your Branch is
continually progressing, and with your solid support we can move from strength
to strength. Please remember, this is
your site, this is your union, so let's pull together and make it work for us
Use the menu buttons above to access all the relevant area's that our branch represents.
